About Me

Hello! 

My name is Ryan Donohue, and I am a native of Buffalo, NY. With a strong background in both personal and professional technology work, I have developed a broad range of technical and creative skills. In 2020, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems from Buffalo State College.

I currently work as a Messaging Engineer at M&T Bank, where I specialize in managing and supporting  exchange and Microsoft based enterprise messaging systems and cloud-based communication environments. Over the years, I have built extensive experience working in both Windows, Linux and cloud-based infrastructures, strengthening my expertise in administration, engineering, troubleshooting, and systems support.

Prior to my current role, I worked as a freelance professional providing web design and technical support services to small businesses in the Buffalo area. My overall skillset includes programming, development, administration, hardware, and computer repair.

Throughout my career, I have gained hands-on experience with a variety of technologies and environments including Windows, Windows Server, Powershell, Linux, Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration. I also have experience working with enterprise tools and platforms used in professional IT environments, and have supported a wide range of public and private organizations.

When I’m not working, I enjoy music and travel. I’ve been fortunate to contribute to Buffalo’s music scene through past band experience and by running my own DJ business. I’ve also traveled extensively, visiting over 14 countries and 15 states.   I enjoy exploring where my passions and talents can take me.
